A businessman from the south of France is suing Uber because he strongly feels the app, specifically the technology behind it, caused his divorce.
The man claims the app contained a “glitch” that allowed others to view his travel history. And by others, he meant his wife. One day he needed to use the app on his wife’s phone, so he logged in with his own credentials. Somehow after logging out, his wife was still able to keep track of locations he was ordering Uber’s from. The man said that she allegedly was receiving “push notifications.”
